International Day of Friendship
July 30 is the International Day of Friendship! We tend to think of reading as a solitary act, but if we reflect on the sheer number of conversations about books we’ve had, it would be hard to say that our literary lives haven’t gifted us with richer, deeper friendships. Whether you’re a keep-to-yourself reader or a book club all-star, we have some titles centred around the theme of friendship for you to mark the occasion with.
1. Rom Com, a poetry collection written by good friends Dina Del Bucchia and Daniel Zomparelli!
2. The Piano Teacher: A Healing Key, the Governor General’s Literary Award–winning play by Dorothy Dittrich!
3. Jabber, the young adult (but relevant for all ages) work of theatre by Marcus Youssef!
