The Vancouver Poetry Conference, in the summer of 1963, was actually a writing course organized by UBC Professor Warren Tallman and poet Robert Creeley. The instructors included Creeley, Charles Olson, Robert Duncan, Allen Ginsberg, Denise Levertov and Margaret Avison, who presented readings, discussions and writing workshops.

Fred Wah‘s recordings of the 1963 conference, along with a selection of poetry readings and lectures from his collection, have been digitized and are available here.
