Kara Flanagan

Kara Flanagan is an educator and postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Victoria. A cofounder of the Victoria Academy of Dramatic Arts, she also teaches at the Victoria Conservatory of Music. Her research focuses on adapting curriculum and pedagogies in acting education to support performers in managing stress and stage fright and creating a captivating stage presence. She studied acting at John Strasberg Studios in New York and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
