This fall, hear readings from Once in Blockadia along the Cascadia coast

The “most dangerous poet in Canada” (according to Eden Robinson) is coming to Portland and Seattle! Not to mention Vancouver, Burnaby, and the Gulf Islands of British Columbia. Stephen Collis’s new collection of poetry, Once in Blockadia, comes out in September, and Collis is taking it to the streets.

On September 3, join Stephen Collis and Lynne Quarmby for Climate Stories, an interactive evening of evidence and art on Saltspring Island in the Gulf Islands.

On September 17 in Portland, Oregon, hear Collis read from his forthcoming book, Once in Blockadia. The Switch hosts Jen Coleman, Stephen Collis, and Kaia Sand, three poets reading from their new books.

The next day, September 18, Collis will read in Seattle, Washington.

A month after that, Collis reads in Vancouver, British Columbia at the big Talon Fall poetry launch (October 20), and then at Simon Fraser University in Burnaby (October 24).

Save the dates! And, in the meantime, pre-order Once in Blockadia for $18.95.
