Frank, having dedicated his life to the unremarkable, and Walker, paranoid since being struck by lightning at the age of three, attempt to flee from each other but end up running in the same direction. They find themselves in a ramshackle hotel at the ends of the earth, run by a staff with a murderous dislike of visitors. Morris Panych’s absurd comedy reminds us that fear can be a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Morris Panych’s The Ends of the Earth runs March 9 to April 7 2013 at the Vertigo Mystery Theatre in Calgary.
