  • Kevin Patterson, News from the Red Desert
  • Steven Price, By Gaslight
  • Yasuko Thanh, Mysterious Fragrance of the Yellow Mountains

An independent jury comprised of representatives from the literary arts community adjudicate the entries for literary merit. The winner will be announced at the Awards Gala to be held on Wednesday, October 11 in Victoria, British Columbia. (Tickets are available now.) For more information, see www.victoriabookprizes.ca.
