Eric Peterson in Seeds

Annabel Soutar’s play, Seeds, starring Eric Peterson (of Corner Gas and Billy Bishop Goes to War) opens tonight at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa, Ontario!
Centering on the four-year legal showdown between biotech giant Monsanto and Saskatchewan farmer Percy Schmeiser, Seeds is a passionate and provocative docudrama about a small-town prairie farmer versus Big Business. The script is based entirely on courtroom trial scripts, news broadcasts, and interviews with the case’s stakeholders. Quite simply, Seeds is about the food we eat. Thought-provoking and irreverent, this deft piece of theatrical storytelling is an intellectual and emotional tour de force. If you are in Ottawa, and are a theatre-goer and/or concerned citizen in general, you won’t want to miss this one.
