Nova Scotian Filmmaker Makes History at Workshop

Dartmouth’s Josh MacDonald was the first North American writer to participate in the éQuinoxe Germany Screenwriters Workshop, Oct. 25 to Nov. 1.

An international jury selected 10 screenwriters from around the world to participate in the workshop, which is held in different European countries in the spring and in Germany each fall.

The film Faith, Fraud and Minimum Wage, based on Josh MacDonald‘s play Halo, and starring Martha MacIsaac and Callum Keith Rennie, opens at Empire Bayers Lake in Halifax and Empire Sydney on Friday, December 3rd.
