Music, Paranoia, Montreal, and Meta-play

With Bated Breath

We are pleased to announce that four of our fall titles are now available!

For the music lover, we have The Satchmo’ Suite by Hans Böggild and Doug Innis, which stages a contrapuntal meeting between a classical cellist and his inner self, as portrayed by jazz legend Louis Armstrong.

For the conspiracy theorist on the go, we have Beating the Bushes, which draws upon Steven Bush‘s alleged ties to the White House Bush family and provides a plethora of evidence in the national interest.

Bryden MacDonald offers us With Bated Breath, following the trials and undulations of gay kid Willy, as he searches for love from Cape Breton Island to Montreal and lives on in the collective memory of those he encounters. This play was reviewed in Good Boys Go to Heaven, Bad Boys Go to Montreal.

Last but certainly not least is the eagerly anticipated English translation of Larry Tremblay‘s Abraham Lincoln Goes to the Theatre, which has been reviewed by Bembo Davies in Re-birth of a Nation.
