Today and tomorrow (March 11-12, 2011), the inimitable M.A.C. Farrant is reading and participating as an invited author at Words on the Water, the Campbell River Writer’s Festival.
M.A.C. Farrant is the author of ten collections of satirical and philosophical short fiction, a novel-length memoir, My Turquoise Years, and a book of non-fiction/humour, The Secret Lives of Litterbugs, a finalist for the 2010 Victoria Butler Book Prize. Down the Road to Eternity: New & Selected Fiction appeared in 2009 and in the Fall of 2011 her “novel of absence” The Strange Truth About Us will be published, also by Talonbooks.
