Bidding farewell to one of Talon’s favourite people

Talon’s managing editor, Greg Gibson, will leave Talonbooks at the end of this week after eight years of bringing hundreds of books that much closer to perfection. Kevin Williams, Talon owner and publisher, comments:

Greg Gibson joined Talon a few months before I did in 2007. He was an integral part of the transition to new ownership at Talon as well as implementation of our five-year plan of systems renewal and modernization. He goes out on top as well, after two outstanding years, during which we were nominated or won fourteen different literary awards and had a national bestseller. Staff, authors, and suppliers loved working with Greg. We are grateful for his dedication, thank him for his hard work, and wish him well in his future endeavors.

Greg will move into the field of technical writing and editing. He will be ardently missed.
