Born in 1939, Michel Garneau is well known as a playwright, poet, singer and translator. His plays have been performed across Canada and his poetry has been translated into German, Spanish, Portuguese and English. From 1982 to 1988 he was Associate Director of the French section of the National Theatre School of Canada. Warriors (1989) was published in the Fall of 1990.
