Ebooks sold on the Talonbooks website are protected by content protection system called Readium. Unlike the proprietary systems used by Apple, Microsoft, or Android, Readium is an internationally recognised, open source system that is run by a non-profit foundation that allows interoperability between many different readers and publishers.

Since ebooks purchased directly from our website are protected with Readium, you cannot open them using a standard PDF or EPUB reading software, like iBooks, Preview, or Adobe Acrobat. Instead, you must use a compatible reader. We have a few recommendations:
