Vancouver Is...The Place to Be!

This week is positively bursting with events that are part of the Vancouver International Poetry Festival, not name just a few of them.

On Tuesday, April 19th at 8pm, bill bissett and Susan Musgrave will appear together at Havana Theatre, challenging your concept of the boundaries of poetic expression.

On Thursday, April 21st at 8pm, also at Havana Theatre, Poetry is Dead will launch its third issue. This event, hosted by Leah Rae, will include the participation of many local writers, including Daniel Zomparelli, Shannon Rayne, Ray Hsu, Nikki Reimer, Jonathon Wilcke, Alex Leslie, and Garry Thomas Morse.

Then on Friday, April 22nd at 4:30pm at the WISE Hall, Adeena Karasick, Andrea Thompson, and Adebe D.A. will be offering a poetic and performative explosion of voice and vocable. Not to be missed!
