Tracing the Lines to Launch in Vancouver!

On Wednesday, February 13 2013 at 7:30pm, join the contributors and editorial collective from Tracing the Lines: Reflections on Contemporary Poetics and Cultural Politics in Honour of Roy Miki for readings and discussions to celebrate the launch of this wonderful collection honouring the work of Roy Miki, whose history reflects that of the West Coast’s literary world. Not only did he found the influential literary journal West Coast Line, but he has researched and written works on poets Roy Kiyooka, George Bowering and bp Nichol, in addition to teaching many of the poets and academics now working and writing on the West Coast.

There will be readings by Daphne Marlatt, Phinder Dulai, Ashok Mathur, Hiromo Goto, Jerry Zaslove, and more!

The launch will take place at the Teck Gallery in SFU Harbour Centre in downtown Vancouver.
