Playwright and theatre prof Kevin Kerr returns to his own award-winning play, Unity (1918), this month at the University of Victoria. Kerr directs UVic’s theatre department production of this “darkly humourous” play about a small Saskatchewan town fighting the 1918 influenza epidemic against the backdrop of another Great War being fought at the same time.
