Invitation to the Future

On September 30th, Garry Thomas Morse will offer a rare preview of his five novel retro-speculative-eelist series The Chaos! Quincunx, including fresh excerpts from the new issue of West Coast Line.

This issue is an intriguing collection of fiction assembled by Michael Barnholden, which also features work by Michael Turner, Daphne Marlatt, Jenn Farrell, Marwan Hassan, Kim Goldberg, Meredith Quartermain, Hannah Calder, Cris Costa, Roger Farr, and more…

This event will take place at Emily Carr University as part of the On Edge Reading Series, and will provide an intensive immersion program in guerrilla Morse for creative writing embeds. The public is welcome to bring their own debunking equipment, so long as it is correctly filed with the official debunking registry.

A tactile facilitation system representing the writer’s work will be on display, followed by a brief interrogation.
