Happy Holidays from Talonbooks!

We wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year! (Is it too early to say that? Or too gauche? In any case we wish everyone a happy December/January period of time.)

Talon celebrated at Pat’s Pub & Brewhouse in Vancouver last Tuesday evening with authors, academics, and other book-loving friends at the East Van Publishers Holiday Party – a grand old time that already feels like a tradition after only two years! The party was co-hosted by a few of Vancouver’s vibrant independent book publishing companies and organizations: the Association of Book Publishers of British Columbia, Anvil Press, Arsenal Pulp Press, New Star Books, and Talonbooks. Guests ate delish snacks, browsed stacks of this year’s best books, and schmoozed contentedly. If you were able to come this year, thanks for being there! We look forward to seeing you again soon.
