Ghosts of Violence will make its world premiere at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa, Canada on February 15, 2011. Conceived and choreographed by Atlantic Ballet Theatre of Canada Founding Artistic Director Igor Dobrovolskiy, this seminal work is a groundbreaking multi-media initiative which brings the issue of domestic violence into the spotlight.
The ballet is the result of a creative collaboration between Dobrovolskiy and Canadian theatre icon Sharon Pollock, who wring out a riveting and emotional choreographic landscape. Ghosts of Violence will tour to communities across Canada in 2011-2012.
