Centaur Theatre Plays in Colour!

For their 45th season (2013/2014), this year’s slogan at Centaur Theatre in Montreal is Centaur Plays in Colour, with the emphasis on local colour, by local playwrights.

This includes David Fennario’s Motherhouse, partly inspired by Fennario’s mother, who worked in the Verdun factory during the Second World War and The St. Leonard Chronicles by Steve Galluccio, starring another another Montreal Italian playwright, Vittorio Rossi.

Montreal playwright Soutar’s hit docudrama Seeds, about a Saskatchewan farmer who takes on a giant corporation (Monsanto), with also be staged, starring noted Canadian actor Eric Peterson as farmer Percy Schmeiser.
