Bring it Home, Vancouver!

Seems these days there are at least two or three thrilling literary events every night in Vancouver! So, if you are in town, take your pick and go to at least one of these events on June 9th:

At People’s Co-op Bookstore at 7pm, Daphne Marlatt and Carole Itter will launch Opening Doors in Vancouver’s East End: Strathcona (Harbour Publishing). Opening Doors is a Vancouver 125 Legacy Book, one of 10 classic books about Vancouver that are being brought back into print to help celebrate Vancouver’s 125th anniversary.

At Pulp Fiction Books at 7:30pm, Stephen Collis will read from his book On the Material, recent winner of the Dorothy Livesay Prize for Poetry. He will be joined by Garry Thomas Morse, reading from his new book Discovery Passages.
