Many of the books Talon publishes are translations from French (Quebec) to English. But did you know that a number of our English books have been translated into other languages for audiences all around the world? Here are just a couple of examples.
Here are three editions of Fred A. Reed’s work of non-fiction, Shattered Images: The Rise of Militant Iconoclasm in Syria in French (Quebec), in English – the Talon edition, and in Turkish.
Shattered Images and others of Reed’s books have become recently available as ebooks.
Morris Panych’s classic play, 7 Stories, has been translated into many languages. Below are the Ukranian edition (which also includes his plays Vigil, Gordon, and The Trespassers), the Talonbooks edition, and the Japanese edition – a beautiful, slim hardcover, with dust jacket and belly band.
We tweeted about the Ukrainian edition when it arrived last week:

And the Japanese edition of Panych’s Vigil just arrived this morning!

Panych’s latest play, The Shoplifters, premiered in Washington, DC, was a hit, and will be released in print this spring.
